Entrance Guide to Prof. Nishihara Lab.

Undergraduate Study
Prof. Nishihara teaches at Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering. His lab. accepts a few senior students every year for their bachelor theses research.
Graduate Study
Prof. Nishihara teaches both at Department of Communications and Integrated Systems and at Department of Human System Science and accepts a few graduate students each. The students conduct research on signal processing or educational technology. They are requested to determine their research themes themselves.

Members of Prof. Nishihara's Lab. are assigned their individual desks and computers at room #822 of the Ookayama West #9 Building, which was newly built in May 2004, and can use the network resources at Tokyo Institute of Technology.

In Prof. Nishihara's Lab., there are two seminars per week and a joint seminar with Prof. Nishikata's Lab. per month. In those seminars students present and discuss on their study/work on signal processing or educational technology.

International Graduate Program
Department of Communications and Integrated Systems offers International Graduate Program, where students can take entrance examination in English and some courses are taught in English.

Asahi Kasei, Agilent Technology International, Fuji Xerox, Fujitsu Learning Media, NEC, NTT, Panasonic AVC, Ricoh, Sun Microsystems, TEPCO, Texas Instruments Japan, Tokyo Electron AT, Toshiba, Yamaha, etc.
