On 10 July 2015 TAIST – Tokyo Tech held its Opening Ceremony for 2015. Prof. Nishihara gave a speech as Chair of TAIST Steering Committee.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Tokyo Tech on 21 April, 2015.  Prof. Nishihara took part in the meeting and attended their laboratory tour.

CRADLE (Center for Research And DeveLopment of Educational technology, established in 1973) was dissolved in the end of March 2015.

ICICTES2015 was held in Cha am, Thailand, during 22-24 March 2015. Prof. Nishihara was an Honorary Chair, and Mr. Murofushi presented a paper on image inpainting and won Best Paper Award.
