IEEE Region 10 Directors Dialogue was held online on 8 August 2020, and Prof. Nishihara, Region 10 Director, had a talk on “How IEEE Contributes to Society at Large and Communities during and after COVID-19”, and answered to many questions.

On Sunday, 19 July, there was a Webinar organized by IEEE Region 10 Student Activities Committee, and Prof. Nishihara was a Keynote Speaker, and gave a talk on “Student Membership Development and Retention within Region 10”.

On 9 July 2020, there was a webinar on IEEE Region 10 Section & Chapter Management. Prof. Nishihara had a short talk as Region 10 Director.

Prof. Nishihara was called to participate in the IEEE Japan Council WIE gathering on 20 June 2020. WIE activities in Japan are becoming vibrant.
