Izumi ITO received her B.E. with the highest honor and M.E. degrees from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Japan, in 2007 and 2008, respectively. She received a Ph.D. degree at Tokyo Metropolitan University in 2010. In 2010, she joined Tokyo Institute of Technology as an assistant professor. Her research interests include digital signal processing and image processing. She received an Excellent Paper Award and a PCSJ Student Excellent Paper Award from IEICE (Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers) in 2008 and 2009, respectively. She is a member of the IEICE, IEEE, EURASIP, ITE, and APSIPA.
