In 2020 Prof. Toshio Fukuda is IEEE President, and Board of Directors Strategic Retreat was held on 17-18 January in Fukuoka, Japan.

On 11 January 2020 IEEE Region 10 Executive Committee meeting was held in Queenstown, New Zealand to discuss plans for this year.

Prof. Nishihara was invited to 2019 IEEE Hong Kong Section Annual General Meeting together with Prof. Jose Moura, IEEE President on 12 December 2019.
