IEEE Region 10 Humanitarian Technology Conference 2019 was held during 12-14 November in Depok, Indonesia. Prof. Nishihara rang a gong to open the conference, and gave a welcome speech as IEEE Region 10 Director.

WIE2019 was held at Tsuda College on 9 November, where Prof. Nishihara gave an invited talk entitled “Wearing Two Hats and IEEE WIE”, and fasilitated one of the table talks.

Six-U HAPPIER hosted this year’s Innovative Teaching Workshops by Prof. Roderick Smith of Imperial College London at Tokyo Tech, Nagoya Univ. and Tohoku Univ. Total 18 faculty members actively participated the workshops .

On 28 Ocotober Prof. Nishihara visited National University of Laos to discuss with the Dean of Engineering, etc. for the establishment of IEEE Laos Subsection.
