Prof. Nishihara was pleased to represent the IEEE Board of Directors at the Award Ceremony, part of the 28th Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference. It was his great pleasure to recognize Prof. Yoshisuke Ueda as a recipient of the Gustav Robert Kirchhoff Award for the discovery of chaotic phenomena in electronic circuits and for his contributions to the development of nonlinear dynamics.
