2018 February IEEE Board of Directors meeting series was held in Orlando. Prof. Nishihara took part together with Prof. Toshio Fukuda, Prof. Hironori Kasahara, and Dr. Takatoshi Minami. We enjoyed a dinner together.

IEEE Region 10 Executive Committee Meeting was held in Yangon on 13 January 2018. We discussed on activity plans in 2018. また1月12(金)にはNomination and Advisory Committee会議も開催されました。

6U-HAPPIER held three 2-day sessions of ACE (Academic Career Enhancement) Innovative Teaching Workshop directed by Prof. Roderick Smith of Imperial College London. IEEE Japan Council WIE successfully held the WIE 2017 conference “Future Technology developed by Women Engineers“ on 21 October 2017 at Keio University. Prof. Nishihara took part as a facilitator at a table talk.
