On 22-24 November 2010, IEEE TENCON 2010 was held in Fukuoka, Japan, and Ms. Ma and Prof. Nishihara took part.

As a deputy of the President, Prof. Nishihara attended the Second Japan-UK Higher Education Symposium held at Kyushu University on 18th and 19th November 2010.

Prof. Nishihara visited Tsinghua University in Beijing in October 2010.
