Association for Application Experiments of WINDS (Wide-band Inter-Networking engineering test and Demonstration. Satellite “Kizuna”), where Prof. Nishihara serves as Chairman, received JGN2plus Award for their international distance education experiments using seamless connection of satellite multicast and IP multicast. International Conference on Information and Communication Technology for Embedded Systems 2011 was held in Pattaya during 27-29 January 2011. Nagai and Nishihara attended.

Mr. Ueda, Dr. Ito, and Prof. Nishihara attended APSIPA ASC 2010 held in Singapore during 14-17 December 2010.  Prof. Nishihara took 6 undergraduate students by the “Project to Discover and Enhance Students Ability in Science and Engineering”.

On 24-26 November, 25th Signal Processing Symposium was held at Nara Women’s University. Mr. Nagai, Mr. Ueda, Dr. Ito, and Prof. Nishihara had presentations there.
