Prof. Toru Ishida, IEICE President 2021-2022, and Prof. Akinori Nishihara, IEICE Auditor 2020-2022, happened to be witnesses to the marriage certificate of Dr. W and Dr. I. While Prof. Ishida and Prof. Nishihara were attending the IEICE Annual General Meeting on 9 June 2022, they knew that the new couple would submit the certificate. So they took this congratulatory photo and sent it to the new couple.
